back to a good old familiar place

finally went back to a good old place after a long while
yeesh Al Forno East Coast.. sort of like a second home

the usual suspects were ordered..
soute vongole: how can something so simple be so good ...sigh its only pure seafood bliss...and the sauce was fingerlickin good as usual

penne sicilliana: vain attempts have been made to replicate this recipe back in London
however the guinea pig who tried this before feign any recollection of having ever tasted anything remotely familiar...
a basic yet complicated tomato based eggplant pasta smothered in mozerella cheese

spag cicale..more seafood as only the Italians would have made them ..crayfish with tomato sauce..i would say this is definately one of the signature dishes here

of course would have also wanted to order calamari, farfalle salmone, rigatoni boscaiola, ssheesh make it the whole menu but alas these will simply not fit in my tummy .. why why why ..times like these i wish i was a cow; 7 tummies yay

on another note, Al Forno will be starting a new branch near Orchard in mid July .. more face stuffing will ensue!

finally done it !

borne and finalised at a wine session on a rainy Saturday nite ..this will bear testimonial to our everlasting commitment to good food and even better food companions.
